Cars and Cake at Duke of London. Springing through March

Crossing London at 8am is not far off an absolute pleasure, no one seems to get up till after 9am which makes the roads quiet although still not totally devoid of terrible drivers. As you arrive in Brentford you’re struck by the vibrant colours and buildings all leading towards Duke of London.

First port of call was Le Swine for a Sausage Bap then straight upstairs for a wander round Duke’s current stock of cars for sale.

It was a real tough decision between the stunning Irish Green Targa, the 997 GTS or the 996 GT3 for which would be joining the hypothetical garage.

Duke takes vibe and turns it up to 11 with an eclectic selection of memorabilia and furniture lining the showroom creating a moving like scene everywhere you turn.

Back down stairs in front of the cobbler was Italian style perfection in the form of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider. A gorgeous car and the perfect black painted exterior with the bold red interior is a strong combination.

It’s difficult to work out where this car would be most at home out of touring up the Amalfi Coast or wafting round the Lake Como, either way there would be no rushing just absorbing the atmosphere and plenty of stops to admire the Giulietta in its natural habitat.

A few steps away and you’re back outside greeted by a bustling array of cars, including a Ferrari 488’s, Ford Thunderbird, classic minis, E-types, 911’s, Range Rover Classics and a £400 E46 BMW.

The blue road and The Brewery Tap give a vibrant setting for the event creating an amazing back drop.

It was great to see some of the more modern cars too. The bright purple Hell Slo Lotus Exige was great to see and stood out compared to everything else.

As always, Duke puts on an amazing event, always bringing in a huge range of cars and smashing down any cliques within the community. Thank you very much for having us all.

Check out some more photos below from the morning.
