Carhuna are a rapidly growing online auction platform taking the battle to Collecting Cars only Carhuna feature some of the greatest vehicles you’ll see on the road and in shows with the greats such as DK Engineering and Girado & Co. selling vehicles through the Carhuna platform.

Perfectly marrying up with the phenomenal service Carhuna offer, they also organise some unique and exceptional events, and this Saturday morning featured a PTS Porsche special over at JZM Porsche with copious amounts of coffee and cake.

And for the non Porsche nerds, PTS is paint to sample, where invited owners spec their car with one of the 160+ limited edition colours or generate a new bespoke colour.

Making the journey round the London Orbital (which sounds a lot more racy than the M25 car park) we pulled up out side JZM greeted by a beyond rainbow selection of Porsche porn but first up was a meander through the stock inside.

Of course with JZM being Porsche specialists it was hardly surprising their inventory included imaculate examples of 991 GT3’s, 997 GT3’s, Turbos, Cabs and Caymans, but there were also some curve balls. As we walked through the roller door we were greeted with an AMG GTR roaring to life while behind sat a stunning 812 Superfast. By far the personal highlights were the two Cayman GT4 RS in the reception, and the 996 GT2 ClubSport.

Outside a row ranging from 60’s 911 through to a brand spanking new 992 Dakar filled the carpark. Turbos, tourings and track cars all in some of the most iconic Porsche colours of all time from Rubystone Red, Fayence Yellow, Arctic Silver and a three Forrest Greens (including a 991 speedster).

With the coffee morning being on for a few hours, it meant there was a near constant changing of the guard as Ferdinand’s finest roared in and out. The aroma of fresh coffee and 99 octane fuel filled the air, accompanied by the sounds of six cylinders and Porsche chit chat.

Sat inside under the strip lights as a gem in the storage area was a violet RWB, enormous wide arches protruding out giving the car a nearly square wheelbase. Despite having now seen a hand full of RWBs in the UK now at various events, it still always receives and ‘oooh’ reaction and a wander up close to see the unique details Akira Nakai San has put into each and every one of them.

As the morning drew to a close it gave a chance to try some super slow shutter panning shots to maximise the motion blur, what do you think?

Thank you to JZM Porsche for hosting the morning, and to Carhuna for organising the event and providing coffee and cake. As always a big thank you to all who came out in their rear engined rides who between them managed to display the rare and the unique from all through the 75 years of Porsche.

We’re looking forward to more Carhuna events in the future.
