Sunny Spring Strassenkultur Evenings at Caffeine and Machine
With the evenings getting longer, the temperatures rising and the roads drying it feels like summer is nearing. Arriving at Caffeine and Machine on a Wednesday evening after work having been blinded by the sun glaring warm through the windscreen, greeting by a DJ playing and crowds of people covering the grass area, it felt like winter is finally over.
Strassenkultur celebrates everything German car related, and for one Wednesday a month this is the theme for the evening. This month RPM Technik came along in a collection of Stuttgart’s finest including a Porsche 991 GT2 RS and a Porsche 992 GT3 with a full Manthey Racing kit amongst numerous flat six fury spread all around the site.
The main aim for the evening was to give a new lens filter a try, a black diffusion mist filter. The vibe of the filter is to diffuse all the strong light sources creating a much more soft and almost cinematic feeling to the images. With Caffeine and Machine being just 20 minutes from the office it made the perfect testing ground.
The car park included some gems, a full compliment of M3’s from E30 through to F80 amongst a hand full of Cayman GT4’s, and a personal favourite a gorgeous little Alfa Romeo GT Junior (appreciate it’s not german but still very cool to see).
A successful evening and stunning way to start the spring, surrounded by cool cars bathed in sunlight and a new filter to give it an event warm and glowing vibe.
As always thank you to Caffeine and Machine, and to RPM Technik too for bringing some epic cars along.
