From pristine 80’s nostalgia to full blown competition cars there was something for everyone at RollHard
The morning started well with the noise of a starter motor spinning and not a single spark or bang on the 1968 Mini. A quick fettle with plugs, fuel air locks and a generally puzzled face later and we fired into life with a running rich burble and smell.
Blasting the 30 minutes of B-Roads to Bicester Heritage was exceptional fun with the ‘mighty’ 1275 even getting held up by modern cars. Queueing into the show however did get a little bit concerning with the temperature gauge rising with the sun beating down, but we were in, sat at the front of The Green Parking.
It was the first experience of RollHard, it did not disappoint. Some phenomenal builds on display, it was eye opening and certainly got the creative juices flowing. The site at Bicester Heritage adds to the spectacle with retro buildings and the way the sun shines through the trees.
